Make Rescue Your Mission
Over 300 churches in Central Pennsylvania partner with us in various ways. As Harrisburg’s “Rescue Mission,” Bethesda was founded by a coalition of various local churches, pastors, and city leaders who recognized the growing needs and committed to meet them. We are are not affiliated with any particular denomination or group, but endeavor to be a missionary arm of the local church community, as our mission statement suggests. Please consider how your church can become a part of this Christ-centered legacy.
- Invite a Speaker
Many times, the first introduction someone has to our ministry is by hearing about us through their church. Please consider inviting a speaker from the Mission to share about how God is working here in Harrisburg during your Sunday morning service, Sunday School class or other activity.

- Financial Support
Consider talking to your Missions board about adding Bethesda Mission to the ministries your church supports on a regular basis. We were founded as a “missionary arm of the local church,” so we depend on your support.
