STAFF SPOTLIGHT: Amy Inch, Women’s Mission

1. How long have you worked at Bethesda Mission and in what role(s)?

I’ve been at Bethesda Women’s Mission since March 2013, and I’ve been serving in the roles of House Supervisor, and Case Manager.

2.     What were you doing before Bethesda?

Before Bethesda, I was working as an office manager.

3. What inspires you/motivates you to come to work each morning?

I guess I just feel like there’s a lot of work to be done in the Kingdom, and it’s important to be faithful and reliable.  I have a heart to see the needs be met in Harrisburg, and the city be transformed into lives of wholeness, destiny, and prosperity. I long to see a beautiful renaissance in Harrisburg and Central Pennsylvania- and in the whole state for that matter!

4. Tell us a little about your family.

My family is Pennsylvanian, born and raised, and a lot of us have roots in Harrisburg.  I was born in Harrisburg, like a lot of my family members. I came from good people; lots of roots in the Christian faith, hard-working, service-minded, and down-to-earth.

5. What’s your favorite book?

My favorite book would have to be the Bible.  It’s by far the book I’ve read most and rely on most.  But I like having a lot of different books around me, because I like to research things, and refer to different sources.

6.  Favorite hobby?

Honestly, one of my favorite things to do is to connect deeply with friends, and brothers and sisters in the Lord through the Word, prayer, worship, and sharing.  ….I also love nature.

7.  A meaningful Bible verse to you?

I think one of my favorite Scriptures is “…Remember, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” -Matthew 28:19.  I’ve experienced God revealing Himself and coming through in so many times and seasons. I find great peace in knowing He is always with me.  It has made a HUGE impact in my life.
