Dream (1st-4th) Program Coordinator (Full-time)
Seeking a female to assist in planning and supervising appropriate activities for inner-city youth. Teaches age appropriate spiritual development fosters Christian growth, and councils youth as needed. Requires Christian character; Associate’s degree or equivalent experience working with youth. Monday-Friday, 10-6; occasional evenings and weekends.
Youth Outreach Manager
Responsible for ongoing development and implementation of programming for the Elementary School Age Program at the Community Center in addition to organizing/assigning volunteers within these programs. Requires an Associate’s Degree and two years of experience working with Christian youth and in community outreach/ministry.
Volunteer Coordinator/Event Coordinator (Full-time)
Seeking organized, relationship-driven, and resourceful individual to support Bethesda Mission through event planning, fundraising, and community involvement. Additionally, this position will require the recruitment, training, and management of individuals who serve the Mission through volunteer service. Requires Christian character and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. An Associate’s Degree is preferred with two or more years of experience in fundraising, event planning or donor cultivation.
House Supervisor (Full-time)
Seeking female to support women in a recovery/addiction program and to maintain security of Women’s Shelter facility. Requires good driving record with valid license; computer skills; preferably 2 years experience leading women with case management and recovery experience. Requires Christian character. 40 hours per week: 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., Monday through Friday and every other weekend and other occasional hours as needed. Benefits available.
Maintenance Assistant (Volunteer/Part-time)
Bethesda Mission is seeking a volunteer to provide support to our Handyman Contractor, Darvin Martin. Expected commitment could range from 10-20 hours volunteer support per month. Should part-time employment be of interest for this position, expected commitment could range from 15-20 hours per week. Volunteer transportation mileage will be provided if
requested. Responsibilities include mowing, landscaping, repairs, and snow removal. Candidate must demonstrate knowledge of and demonstrate ability to repair electrical and plumbing systems.
Community Center Program Assistant
This full-time position provides administrative support to team members throughout the planning and implementation of Community Center Programs, serving both the physical and spiritual needs of the HBG Area Community. The position requires that the candidate possesses, high school diploma or higher education, Christian character, experience supervising youth in recreational activities, and interacts effectively with inter-city youth and families.
Donor Services Assistant (Part-time)
Part-time data entry position in the administrative office. Flexible days-24 hours per week. Includes responsibility for processing cash and in-kind gifts and mailings. Requires Christian character and 2 years’ experience in general office work. Past Development experience a plus.
Dental Hygienist (Part-time)
Licensed hygienist to assess oral hygiene care needs and treatment plans, to include cleaning teeth, identifying oral diseases, providing preventive dental care and educating patients on good oral health in a service-based, state-of-the art facility during Wednesday, Thursday and Friday clinics. 16-32 hours per week. Requires Christian testimony.
